I decided to upgrade OS step by step , I search OS Mavericks in app store but it doesn't show anything , I searched in google and downloaded 10.9.5 and other update versions , but it says you should have 10.9 first .
The updates that you downloaded previously like 10.9.5 are only updates and you must have an earlier version of Mavericks installed for those updates to take, as you are on Mountain Lion 10.8.5 that could never work. Mavericks full install version is no longer available for download.

3. On your Mac, go to System Preferences > Software Update and find MacOS Big Monterey. Click Upgrade Now. The download will start immediately, but may take while.
You no longer need to follow these steps to run MacOS Monterey. But if you like having hands-on previews, here's how to get future MacOS public beta versions on your machine. Note: You should never download a beta version on your primary device, as they're often buggy -- we recommend only doing so if you have a separate tester device available.

Thanks guys a great help. My newly purchased Dymo labelwriter shipped with a cd of version 8.3. This did not work with my MacBook Pro running Yosemite so off to Google and found you!The above download worked flawlessly.Little help on Dymo (per se) site although this update is available no explanation that it is for Yosemite.Other comments re Dymo (who I will be writing to!):MacBooks are no longer built with a CD reader so why provide the software in this format - I happen to have an external Apple CD drive .Why do Dymo not provide a link to, and advise using, the latest software?Lastly, more worrying, Apple are beta testing the next OS El Capitan, this presumably will be for full release in the Autumn, BUT are the Dymo developers aware of this and testing the software and drivers for this NOW or will we all be left high and dry again?I appreciate your independent non "Dymo" role and will contact Dymo directly on this but in the meantime thanks once again for getting me up and running.
And there aren't many Java apps like ImageJ which specialize in analyzing images. ImageJ runs either as an online applet or as a downloadable application which you'll find here. ImageJ can display, edit, analyze, process, save and print 8-bit, 16-bit and 32-bit images and supports most major formats including TIFF, GIF, JPEG, BMP, DICOM, FITS and "raw".
For this paper, the simulations were run on either a Mac Mini, 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7, or a 2.8 GHz i7 MacBook (both OS 10.9.5). On the Mini, MatLab R2015b was used, R2015a on the MacBook laptop. Our codes and maps are available [27].
Fortunately, there is an alternative available. The previous version of Write-N-Cite 4 (version 4.4.1272) should work for most combinations of Windows and Office (except for Office 2016). See b elow the Write-N-Cite version download 04.04.1272:
Write-N-Cite may also cause problems because the necessary supporting software is missing or not up to date. Usually ,this software is already installed on your computer. See b elow the additional software required for Write-N-Cite 4. Optionally, you can download and update the software via the links.
My favourite text editor BBEdit has just been updated. BBEdit 11.6.3 requires Mac OS X 10.9.5 or later, and is compatible with macOS 10.12 "Sierra". This update contains no new features but includes a number of bug fixes.
The Jmol 3D Print website allows the creation of STL and VRML files for 3D printing for any structure in the Open Crystallography Database. You can search either the full COD and then design your own model for printing, or search the more than 30,000 predefined sample files in the figshare collection and download the STL or WRL files that have already been created for those structures.
Allow applications downloaded from anywhere in macOS Sierra, if you open the security panel in the Settings the default options in Sierra are as shown below. There is no longer the option to open applications from Anywhere.
The new version can be downloaded here , once downloaded and you will need to temporarily adjust your security settings to open it the first time. This is because DataWarrior is not from the Mac App Store or an identified developer. Once open make sure you reset your security settings.
With the release of iOS 10 comes an update to Xcode. Xcode 8.0 is a free download for OS X 10.11 or later. I thought I'd have a look at the number of downloads of iBabel there have been since I announced the latest release last month. So far there have been over 250 downloads and there seems to be a steady stream of downloads as shown in the plot below.
Source code is available for download here and building the FreeSASA library and command-line interface only requires standard C and GNU libraries and a C99-compliant compiler, and should be straightforward on any UNIX system (has been tested in Mac OS X 10.8 and Debian 8).
Added NCIPLOT to the alphabetical listing of applications. NCI (Non-Covalent Interactions) is a visualization index based on the density and its derivatives. It enables identification of non-covalent interactions. NCIPLOT is available for download.
I recently needed to download the supplementary information provided with a publication, my heart sank when I saw it was provided as a PDF file. My worst fears were justified when I tried to simply copy and paste SMILES strings together with 5 columns of data into a spreadsheet, no chance of it copying across in an ordered manner!
The software is available both as source code and as a binary compiled for Linux (x86 architecture). It is entirely written in Pascal and it was compiled with Free Pascal 1.0.11 or Free Pascal 2.4.0 (starting from v0.4c). So to install we first need to get a Pascal compiler, this can be downloaded from Sourceforge.
XQuartz 2.7.9_rc1 is available for download. This update contains a workaround for an issue that users have been reporting on El Capitan. If you're on El Capitan and have been seeing OpenGL surfaces remain onscreen after they should have been dismissed, please give this update a try and report back to the developers. 2ff7e9595c
